Perrin Sparks (SFCA) is teaching her 5th annual Alpine Meadow Paint-together from Thursday August 23 – Sunday August 26, 2018, and she has 2 spots which have suddenly become available! Each year, Perrin invites 8 artists to join her at Mt. Washington late in August when the flowers blooming on Paradise Meadow are at their peak.
Perrin’s primary goal for this workshop is to gather together a group of plein air painters to share experiences, know-how, tips and tricks, equipment thoughts and the challenge of capturing the incredible flora and fauna of the park. The Vancouver Island Mountain Centre, where the artists are housed, has been recently upgraded, yet has given Perrin and her group a significant “deal” on the pricing of the weekend. The cost of the workshop includes delicious organic, healthy meals (food allergies accommodated by the chef), great balconies to paint from as well as on the meadow, a large dining/meeting area, and rooms which sleep 4 in bunk beds. Perrin is hoping to also have a massage therapist available who offers the unique Thai treatment. The price for all of this, you ask? $469.00 per person for the 3 nights and for 8 meals! A $100 deposit is due before the 23rd of June, with the remaining $369.00 due July 20th, 2018. (NO REFUNDS FOR CANCELLATION AFTER JULY 23RD)
