Active members of Arrowsmith FCA are invited to be a part of the annual Nanaimo Fine Arts Show in November, 2019. This art show is eagerly anticipated by artists from all over Vancouver Island, as it features amazing artistic pieces in a prime setting, with impressive attendance from the public.
The show will run from Friday, November 1st to Sunday, November 3rd at the Dodds Narrows rooms, Vancouver Island Conference Centre in Nanaimo. The weekend includes an Opening Gala and Award Ceremony, a Silent Auction, demonstrations by SFCA artists, and cash awards in many categories. Artists have opportunity to meet with collectors, show sponsors and the public on the Friday evening.
Entry Submissions open April 1st and end at midnight, August 31st, 2019. Entries are restricted to 40″ in width. The paintings are displayed on easels, so you may want to keep this in mind when determining the height of the piece.
Entry fees (up to 3 entries): $25 for the first entry, $10.00 each for entry number two and three. There is also a hanging fee of $10, should the work be juried into the show. Commission is 20%. All submitted work must be for sale, and once juried into the show cannot be sold and/or withdrawn before the show.
